Capture it all with the DS4600 Series - No matter what kind of data you need to capture in your store, there is a DS4600 Series model that is ready for the job. Scan 1D and 2D barcodes, whether they’re printed on a label or displayed on a phone. Capture DotCode and dotted DataMatrix barcodes through cellophane, as well as the tiny and dense barcodes found on jewelry tags. Read wide barcodes on packages and cartons in the backroom. You can even collect data from IDs and travel documents using Optical Character Recognition (OCR), or parse driver’s license information for age verification, returns monitoring, loyalty and credit card applications. The result? Superior value. You can deploy a single scanner family for virtually every scanning need across our store.
Count on Zebra performance to keep your lines moving - Zebra’s DS4308 set the bar for decode range, and you can count on the same “can’t miss” range from the DS4600 Series. The DS4608-SR can capture UPC codes up to 28 inches away, enabling checkout associates to easily reach items in a customer’s shopping cart without leaving the cashwrap. The 800 MHz microprocessor, high-resolution megapixel sensor and Zebra’s exclusive PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology provide instant barcode capture on even the most challenging barcodes. And a patented rear engine design enables the DS4600 Series to read wider barcodes at every distance, compared to other scanners with a similar field of view. As a result, associates can focus on your customers, rather than positioning items.
Day-in, day-out dependability - The DS4600 Series is engineered for durability, inside and out. IP52 sealing protects against spills, while a patented double-sealed optical system guards the critical optical components from dust and liquid—ensuring that the ‘eye’ of the scanner always captures the sharpest possible barcode image for fast and reliable decoding. The recessed scan window protects against smudges, dirt and scratches, which can impact performance. And the scanner is built to survive multiple 6 ft./1.8 m drops to concrete and 2,000 tumbles in our punishing tumble test.
Zebra
DS4608 is a highly multi-faceted barcode scanner and is ideal for a
variety of workstations, such as in retail and hospitality, as well as
in the electronics and light industry (DPM). The scanner is also
robustly designed for demanding tasks: it features IP52 certification
and is impact-resistant from heights up to 1.8 meters.
The recessed scan
window helps reduce dirt and scratches.
The
DS4608 reliably and quickly captures 1D and 2D, plus DPM barcodes
(DS4608-DPE) on nearly any background and in nearly any condition:
printed or from a display, with a high density or a low contrast. The
DS4608-HD also reads very dense, very small barcodes, for example, on
jewelry labels without any trouble.
With the DS4608-DPE particularly
wide barcodes with a width up to 4" are captured. The DS4608-SR, on the
other hand, also scans full-page documents and barcodes at a distance of
up to 46 cm. This makes it possible for users to scan items in a
shopping cart without having to leave the checkout area, for example.
The
barcode scanner is equipped with an 800 MHz microprocessor and a
high-resolution megapixel sensor. Together with Zebra's PRZM intelligent
imaging technology even poorly readable or hard to reach barcodes are
reliably captured. Multi-code data formatting ensures that, as needed,
multiple barcodes are captured with a single scan and are transferred in
the desired order.
A practical and clear triple good scan confirmation
follows every successful scan: a decoding LED, a programmable audible
beep and a direct decoding indicator with lighting on the barcode. A
particularly practical feature is the host recognition, which
automatically selects the right interface (USB, RS-232 or RS-485) when
connected.
